A 28–32ft charter normally provides the best value for a group of four or five. Choose a larger sportfisher if air conditioning, interior space or greater offshore comfort is important.
Half-day charters are generally best for inshore fishing. A full day is recommended for offshore marlin, sailfish, tuna, mahi-mahi and wahoo because the captain needs more time and range.
Depending on the selected boat, departures are from Los Sueños Marina or Herradura Bay near Jaco. We will confirm the exact meeting point with your reservation.
Prices can change with fuel costs, season and boat availability. Confirm whether tax applies, what is included and the final total before paying a deposit.
Yes. The crew provides instruction and can tailor the day to beginners, children or experienced anglers. Families sensitive to motion may prefer an inshore trip or a larger boat.
Marlin and sailfish are released. Roosterfish should also be released. Legal table fish such as tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo and snapper may usually be kept within applicable rules.
